Make Your Own Kegerator!

We will show you the most efficient way to transform a Sanyo 4912M Model into a state of the art dual tower tap system.  It's actually a fun project, is easy to do, and produces a kegerator valued comparable to the top end models ranging in the thousands of dollars.

Remove Plastic Top.

Use vodka and corn starch mix to see an evaporation line where freon line runs.
Carve away plastic molds in order to place wood base for tap tower.

Drill 2 1/2 inch hole through top.  Match the hole through the 8x8" piece of 1/2" plywood (Tower Anchor Base).
Wood base fits perfectly into the underside of the plastic lid where plastic fins were removed.

Position tower where you want it and drill the 4 anchor holes into the top so screws have somewhere to go.
Duct tape the hole.

On the underside of the wood base, insert T-Nuts into the drilled anchor holes. 
Use silicone type caulking around hole and on underside of wood base to create a waterproof seal. 
Position wood base over hole with T-Nuts and caulking underneath, place plastic top back on, and line all the holes up and fasten tap tower with 1" screws.
If tap holes are not drilled into the top of the fridge, the 1 inch screws will hit and push the wood and plastic top upwards.

Tap Tower fastened !  Remove drain tray from behind fridge.
Remove drain hole plug inside the fridge.  Run gas line through the drain hole and out the back of fridge. 
Use silicone caulking to seal teh drain hole after line is position.  Allow to dry overnight.

Use 1 inch pipe insulation hose to feed up into the tower.  This prevents loss of cool air from the fridge and out through the tower.
Also helps keep the beer in the line cool.

Use T spliter and hose clamps to assemble double gas lines.  Gas line coming out the back of fridge with drian tray re-inserted.

The final product with stainless drip tray,  5 lb C02 tank and regulator. The ABS Frosty Fireside Winter Ale and Fuggle Fuggle Belgian Dubbel on tap.
